Carolyn Posh - Staging & Design Consultant

Experience counts! Since 1975, Carolyn has been busy designing homes, gardens, parties as well as commercially. Her projects were many showcases such as Danada. Recognition includes articles written about her in several newspapers, as well as seen on channels 2, 7, 9, 32 and Oprah Winfrey. Carolyn was educated at Alma College and Western Michigan. She earned her degree in 1967 from Chicago School of Interior Design. She credits her creative abilities to being innate visually. She pops in and within minutes has the plan!

She owned Positively Posh Antiques and Interiors in the 70's and 80's; her shop in Glen Ellyn. She's been given a 4-star rating for design by Chicago Tribune and also was the Christmas home for the Tribune. She is also known for giving birth to 13 children and being extremely organized!

Carolyn's clients and associates recognize her for always finding time for others and giving from the heart. Integrity and dependability are her assets. Numerous thank yous express this openly. Wade Johnson - Services Consultant

I graduated S.I.U. in 1972 with a double B. A. in political science and history, following a pre-international law curriculum. I have worked as a carpenter, heavy machine operator and a farmer. I had a career as a financial professional, concentrating on business and personal estate accumulation and conservation. I still maintain my license, registration and continuing education requirements in the state of IL in this field.

Additionally, I fulfilled aspirations of airplane piloting, sailing, scuba diving, horseback riding and motorcycling. I also taught at the high school level and was certified by the Dupage County Merit Commission for hire as a Deputy Sheriff. I took on a couple of jobs helping start up companies grow utilizing my marketing and sales skills.

One of these ventures and another parties mishandling of the settlement of my parent’s estate inspired me to launch my own estate sale company with a burning desire to afford it as much dignity and respect as possible in the transfer of personal property to purchasing power when it is usually needed the most and at a very family sensitive time. I have built a network of associates in the legal, medical, insurance, I. T. technology, charitable, bereavement, and appraisal fields to help assure all areas of concern are properly addressed.

A few years after I started Reel Eyes Good Byes, I formed a working relationship Carolyn Posh a woman of the highest integrity and a versatile background, including over 40 years of experience in antiques and a degree in Interior Design. We have not looked back since and continue to grow in our service to the community.
